Interreg Europe – Webinar on e-Mobility
The Interreg Europe Programme’s policy learning platform is organising a webinar on 19 March on ‘Supporting e-mobility in European regions and cities'. The webinar will cover issues such as policy, barriers and drivers for e-mobility. In addition, infrastructure development, incentives and campaigns and electric vehicles and the energy grid will also be covered by various Interreg Europe funded projects.

The France (Channel) England programme has updated the Brexit advice on its website.

Interreg 2 Seas – 8th Call for Proposals
The 8th Call for proposals under the Interreg 2 Seas Programme has been launched. All priorities are open for project proposals however applicants should note that some priorities (notably priority 3) may have limited funds by the time of the application deadline. The 2 Seas website will be updated regularly with news on these developments.
The deadline for applying for the call is 8 April. This call is for concept notes only.

Call applicant seminars will be held in each of the Member States during February and March. The date for the UK seminar is yet to be announced.

Interreg Europe Programme Manual Updated
An updated version of the Interreg Europe Programme Manual is now available.

Interreg Volunteer Youth Initiative
The Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) Initiative gives young Europeans a chance to volunteer in cross-border, transnational or interregional programmes and their projects. It forms part of the EU’s Solidarity Corps Initiative. There are two ways in which young people can get involved:

  • Interreg Project Partners – helping with Interreg project implementation (hosted by an Interreg-funded project)
  • Interreg Reporters – helping with the dissemination of Interreg project results (hosted by an Interreg Programme)

Organisations wishing to host a volunteer will find all the necessary information here

Topics of 5th Urban Innovative Action Call Announced
The Urban Innovative Actions programme has announced the topics for the 5th call for proposals which will be launched this autumn. The topics of the call will be:

  • Air Quality 
  • Circular Economy
  • Demographic change
  • Culture and cultural heritage

Interreg North Sea Region Call
Call 10 for Expressions of Interest
opened on 2 January and will close on 8 April 2019.

North Sea Region Video Contest
The 2nd North Sea Region video contest opened recently. The contest will reward the best video about an Interreg North Sea Region project. The deadline for applying is 3 May.

North West Europe Call and Events
The 9th Call for project proposals is now open with a deadline of 14 June 2019. Only priorities 1 and 3 open. For those preparing project proposals there will be an applicant workshop in London on 31 January and a project ideas lab in Brussels on 2 April.

URBACT – Action Planning Networks Call and Events
URBACT’s last call for Action Planning Networks has now opened with a deadline of 17 April. Action Planning networks aim to help cities find solutions to common urban challenges. They bring together up to 10 partners from different European countries to share experience and learn from each other.

For those interested in submitting a proposals, an information day on the Action Planning Network call will take place in London on 5 February. A series of webinars is also being organized between January and April on different aspects of submitting a proposal.

ESPON Calls for Tender
A number of calls for tender have been published recently by the ESPON programme:

*With the competitive dialogue procedure, as a first step, interested economic operators have to submit a Request to participate in the form of a European Single Procurement Document (ESPD). The ESPON EGTC will then evaluate the Requests to participate on the basis of the exclusion and selection criteria and select up to 5 participants (based upon prior experience in the field) to the dialogue stage. Up to two dialogues based on input papers from the tenderers will then be held, followed by the submission and evaluation of final proposals.

Interreg North West Europe – call open
The 9th call for projects under the Interreg North West Europe Programme is now open. The call is only open for projects responding to thematic priorities 1 and 3. These are:

  • Thematic Priority 1 – Innovation
  • Thematic Priority 3 – resource and materials efficiency

The deadline for submitting projects is 14 June 2019.

A number of events are being held over the coming months to help and inform those organisations hoping to submit a project proposal. A NWE funding workshop will take place in London on 31 January and a project ideas lab will take place in Brussels on 2 April. Both events are aimed at anyone thinking of submitting a project proposal and will provide information on the programme, answer financial and or technical concerns and be an opportunity to meet potential project partners.

Interreg 2 Seas Call for Proposals
The Interreg 2 Seas Programme has launched its 7th call for proposals. The deadline for submitting concept notes is 21 December.

Interreg North Sea Region – Transferring more funds into priority 3
The Interreg North Sea Region Programme has announced that it would like to transfer additional funds into its Priority 3 – Sustainable North Sea. This will happen through a redistribution of a small portion of funds from the other 3 priorities. This proposal has now been put to the European Commission for approval.

URBACT – Call for tender
URBACT, the European exchange and learning programme promoting sustainable urban development has launched a call for tenders for a study of its Integrated Action Plans. The study will provide an analytical review of the Integrated Action Plans and a case study focus on ‘Success Stories’. Applications must be submitted by Thursday 18 October 2018.

Following the closure of the European Partnership at the end of March 2019, this website is no longer active and will not be updated. However, it will be kept live for a period of time as an archive resource.
