It also includes conference sessions, including inspirational key-notes, a leadership exchange, a practitioner's exchange on sea-basin strategies, as well as a project launch for the 2017 European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) Blue Growth call.

The European Maritime Day is featuring as part of the broader Poole Maritime Festival, which includes a specialist Business Programme of events in cooperation with Dorset LEP, a Public Festival and other celebratory events.
